The Bridge Center for Hope Board of Directors is seeking interested candidates to join our Board of Directors and help advance our mission to provide compassionate, high-quality behavioral health crisis care for our community.
About the Role
Directors provide strategic guidance, fiduciary oversight, and community leadership. This is a volunteer position.
Key Responsibilities
- Attend regular board meetings and committee meetings
- Provide governance and fiduciary oversight (budget, policy, compliance)
- Support strategic planning and performance monitoring
- Serve as an ambassador for the organization in the community
- Uphold ethical standards and avoid conflicts of interest
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated commitment to behavioral health, public health, or community services
- Expertise in one or more areas: finance, law, healthcare administration, clinical services, nonprofit governance, fundraising, communications, government relations, or lived experience/advocacy
- Strong judgment, integrity, and collaborative mindset
- Prior board or committee service is a plus, but not required
- Candidates reflective of the diversity of the communities we serve are strongly encouraged to apply
Time Commitment
- Regular board meetings (typically monthly or bi-monthly)
- Committee participation as assigned
- Occasional special sessions, trainings, or community events
