Partnering for Better Crisis Care: The Role of Recovery Innovations
A partnership built to support crisis care. Providing effective crisis care takes more than a building — it takes experienced people, strong leadership, and trusted partnerships. At the Bridge Center for Hope, crisis services are delivered through a collaborative model that brings together local oversight and national expertise.
At the heart of this model is the partnership between The Bridge Center for Hope and Recovery Innovations (RI).
In 2019, the Bridge Center for Hope Board of Directors selected Recovery Innovations through a formal solicitation of proposal process to operate the facility. This process ensured that the organization chosen had the experience and capacity to provide high-quality crisis care.
Recovery Innovations International — along with its employees — provides all services at the Bridge Center for Hope. This includes the day-to-day delivery of mental health, substance use, and crisis care services for individuals who walk through the doors or are served through mobile crisis response.
While Recovery Innovations operates the facility, the Bridge Center for Hope maintains local oversight. Executive Director Charlotte Claiborne and the Bridge Center Board of Directors oversee the contract between the Bridge Center and Recovery Innovations, ensuring accountability, quality, and alignment with the Center’s mission.
Who Is Recovery Innovations?
Recovery Innovations is an international nonprofit behavioral health organization with a long history of providing crisis and recovery-oriented services.
Founded in 1990, Recovery Innovations delivers a wide range of mental health, substance use, and crisis services throughout the United States and abroad. Their experience in crisis care made them a strong fit to operate the Bridge Center for Hope facility.
Recovery Innovations was selected by the Bridge Center Board of Directors to bring this expertise to Baton Rouge and East Baton Rouge Parish, supporting the community with compassionate, professional crisis care.
