The Bridge Center for Hope is dedicated to increasing awareness about mental health and substance use disorders throughout East Baton Rouge Parish.
Every year, we partner with local organizations, health providers, and community leaders to share resources, spark conversations, and connect residents with life-changing support.
Through these outreach events, we meet people where they are—offering information, education, and encouragement to seek help without fear or stigma. Together, we’re bridging the gap between crisis and care.
Bridging the Gap Community Resource Fair
Each May, in honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, The Bridge Center for Hope hosts the Annual Bridging the Gap Community Resource Fair—a free, parish-wide event dedicated to raising awareness about the importance of mental health and addiction recovery.
The resource fair provides a space for residents and service providers to connect, learn, and collaborate. Visitors can explore local resources, meet community partners, and discover the many ways East Baton Rouge organizations are working together to heal the whole person.
From mental health services and addiction recovery programs to housing, education, and wellness support—this event highlights the power of partnership.

Bridging the Gap to Geaux
Each summer, we also bring wellness, resources, and community support straight to your neighborhood with Bridging the Gap to Geaux—a traveling outreach series designed to reach even more residents across East Baton Rouge Parish.
The event offers free health screenings, good food, and community support. Each stop is a chance to connect with community partners, learn about services, and take proactive steps toward mental wellness.
